Summary:
Safely Conduct and supervise the Gymnastics area at camps with campers ages 4-13.
Essential Functions:
Provide encouragement during coaching and help children develop a healthy understanding of Gymnastics.
Help children grow and develop new skills.
Safety is of the utmost importance.
Ensure the safe use of equipment and manage participation among all campers.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise any other camp staff.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-timeseasonal position.
Days and hours are Monday through Friday from 8:
30 am- 4:
30 pm.
Required Education and Experience Experience working with children is required Must be 21 years of age and preferably a college graduate Experience working at a summer camp is strongly preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Sports or coaching background in Gymnastics required Proper safety and spotting technique for gymnastics elements and skills is required Strong interpersonal skills Positive attitude, outgoing and energetic Good communication with co-workers, parents and supervisors Must comfortable being outdoors.
